Menthol Mondays!! WooHoo!

This morning was all gray and raining outside and I have the day off so I slept in. Once I woke up I decided to get going with a hot shower and a good menthol Monday shave.

Menthol Monday MASSACRE!!!
Everything was starting out so well, I put a new Astra SP in my Merkur Long Progress, trying out the Irisch Moos for the first time, supered up with CO Bigelow and some M-Bomb:freezing, It was like butter! So smooth I shaved off an ingrown hair bump:shocked003 It must have taken 15 minutes to get the bleeding to stop. I still managed to finish it off with my super Menth Head doctored Adidas Dynamic Pulse:freezing:freezing

This Top Ten Menthol cream from Bulgaria is not very cooling, but there's still enough menthol in it to be felt. The cream itself has a fantastic lather and a very nice scent. The Vifrex aftershave gel is extremely cooling and soothing--it really kills razor burn or irritation on contact.

Although it scarcely qualifies, I did use Bigelow SC and a decant of Superior 70 Bay Rum with some Menthol crystals added.

It was nice.

 

:think002 IMHO it qualifies just fine! I actually think the C.O. Bigelow cream is a touch colder than green Proraso, of course that is just my opinion, YMMV and all that other stuff.

 

Bill, does the C.O. Bigelow cream smell anything like the green Proraso?

Excellent. I didn't notice a huge amount of menthol which is alright by me. Ingram SC is my only other product with Menthol in it and it is a bit stronger then the Bigelow.

 

Ingrams is a fine cream, not my coldest, but has a nice kick, so I have several tubes. I keep a tube of it in my sons bathroom for when I shower and shave there, simply because I can't stand the scent of the Tabac he uses.
