The menthol power of this Iced Subzero stuff is beyond belief - the cream starts to freeze your face on contact, and it just gets colder and colder throughout the shave. The aftershave milk is comparable to Osage Rub or Alcolado Glacial, if not colder. :biggrin:​

• Prep: Hot shower, shampoo + M-Bomb, California Baby face wash, Musgo Real men's body soap (Thanks Johnny!), hand strop blade
• Lather: TSD ISZ Wheat Cream - face lather
• Brush: Frank Shaving Finest
• Razor: Gem OCMM
• Blade: Ted Pella SS PTFE (6), 2+ passes
• Post: Alum block, WH + M-Bomb, hand strop blade

After reading some great threads on JoAnna's wheat cream I was able to load the brush from the tub and get a great face lather this morning. The ISZ scent/menthol experience + the M-Bomb in my shampoo and witch hazel made for a splendidly frosty experience that my face loved every second of.

As I stated a couple of days ago, I enjoy my Lord Super razor also - it doesn't look like very much, but it gives damn close and comfortable shaves without so much effort. The Derbylux cream and Barbon aftershave were my imaginary voyage to Hungary - they are both loaded with menthol! :biggrin:

• Lather: TSD ISZ Wheat Cream - face lather
• Brush: Semogue 1250
• Razor: Schick I1 Injector
• Blade: Ted Pella SS PTFE (4), 2+ passes
• Post: Cold water rinse, Aqua Velva Ice Blue, Tate's Miracle Conditioner

A menthol Monday night shave that allowed me to experiment some. No shower & tried the Tate's as a post-shave. I'm really liking how my face feels right now. The injector provided an excellent shave & the Tate's doesn't leave me feeling greasy..

It's unbelieveable how good this Eastern European version of Palmolive Menthol cream is. So nice a scent, so much of rich lather, and soooooo much of a freezing-cold effect. One day I plan to make this cream and Godrej Menthol Mist to have a contest - I will lather one side of my face with this stuff and the other side with the Godrej. Who do you guys think would win? Another ultra-powerful face-freezer is the Diana Sport balsam, which comes from Austria. :biggrin:

 

I should have my icey cold order from TSD for next week. For tomorrow I will use a tea tree oil prep, italian palmolive cream, and freezer treated aquavelva

The Lord Emofresh cream from Egypt has such a lovely scent to it with a crazy lather which blows up on your face like a bomb. The menthol effect is relatively light compared to Palmolive Green or Blue, Ingram, etc, but it's still there. The Barbon aftershave really magnified the cooling effect! :biggrin:
