What can be used to add menthol to your lather that can be bought at local brick and mortars? I'd hate to order the M-bomb from here, find out I didn't care for it.

You got me there! Not sure if I'd want to use toothpaste, but who knows could be the next big thing in the wetshaving community.
But don't try it with toothpaste that has those red stripes. That would mean constant panic about deep bloody nicks.
On the serious side: if you like menthol, do yourself a favor and order M bomb. I did, and I love it, because I'm in total control of the level of the menthol kick and because I'm able to add the menthol kick to soaps and creams I really like, but do not have menthol as an ingredient.
Thanks for the responses guys( of course other than panicking about the bloody cuts I imagine that the toothpaste would gum up the razor). Seriously though I figured there probably wasn't anything out there, but if you don't ask you don't know.
I currently have one soap and one cream in my normal rotation- the cream is C.O. Bigelow which has menthol and I enjoy it quite a bit. I'd definitely like to have another mentholated cream or two to add to the rotation though...
I have thought about it, but the shipping just kills it for me... I hate to order anything in a scent htat I am not familiar with so at least for now I'm only making small orders at any one time, but doing that kills me on shipping- $6.25 shipping on a $5.99 item makes it not worth it for me...
