A frigid Lebanese cream, an American safety razor with a Russian blade, and a frigid Hungarian aftershave - all the right ingredients for a fantastic Menthol Monday Shave. Wow, is this Gada Cool Mint stuff ever a delight. I have a tube of it with some other stuff in transit to a good friend of mine here! ​

Today was Palmolive Menthol to start the week.

 

Nancy Boy replensishing shave cream after stirring in 2 teaspoons of menthol crystals. Very, very, very cold. Followed by Nancy Boy cooling aftershave gel. Weber razor with DLC head and bulldog handle. WS blade. Badly shedding eshave brush.

Even if the Arko Ice Mint cream isn't the strongest menthol stuff around, it's still strong enough to be used on a Menthol Monday, and it's the nicest cream of the entire Arko series. What an icy combination the 444 balsam and the Skin Bracer are! ​

 

What part of the world are you from, that it's already Menthol Monday? I like the idea of May, as a Menthol Month.

It's in the high 80's here in Montreal, so I decided to throw as much menthol into my shower and shave as I possibly can. The Axe Shock shower gel smells really nice and has a ton of menthol in it, and the Vostok cream is a POTENT face-freezer with a lovely scent, great lather and wonderful protection against dryness and irritation. The Alcolado Glacial puts the final delightful freeze on a magnificent shave.

 

Menthol Monday:

30 minute marinade with TSD ISZ Preshave Balm
Hot Shower
TSD ISZ ss mixed with 3 drops of M-Bomb

TSD ISZ splash followed 20 minutes later with TSD ISZ Aftershave milk

I almost went for either The Rub or The Penguin but I haven't gone all TSD in a while on Menthol Monday so it was time.Between the lather and the splash and milk my face and hands are still freezing

I don't know how much colder it could get than this - Godrej Menthol Mist cream is one HELL of a great face-freezer, and the combination of the Diana Sport balsam and the Osage Rub might be too strong for certain guys. I personally love it, but not everyone's a menthol freak like I am!

Crackstar, you're a real menthol freak in a good way. And for this reason I would like to ask you for advice.
I'm looking for a cooling aftershave splash that is inexpensive and available in Europe. And since I'm a noob and very often get razor burn I hope that it would have something to soothe my skin. I already have some 444 but when I mix it with Nivea Sensitive I don't get that cooling sensation.
I was looking at Barbon but I think it has alcohol and I'm afraid it may irritate my skin.
Any ideas?
