Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Gel Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Rapira Palmolive Cool SC Anherb AS Conditioner Osage Rub AS Azzaro Pour Homme EDT Any day where I don't use menthol stuff makes me feel like something is missing, so the next day I make it a point to go all-out. The Gatsby facial wash is equally as cold as every item I'm using, as well as the Rubby Dubby Doo. I have a feeling the Rapiras are my favorite blades at the present time.

Menthol Monday Evening 4/1/2013 Hot very wet wash cloth. Proraso Green Omega Boar Hydro Magic w/Schick Blades (1) WH Cold Rinse Styptic Styptic Styptic you get the idea Osage Rub!! For some reason I had an absolutely terrible neck shave tonight. First shave on a new blade but have never had this bad of a cheese grating. May have been a combo of new blade and the fact that I've been using my Super Speed almost exclusively. Oh well, it was COLD though!!
Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Rapira Egyptian Palmolive Menthol SC Visal AS Gel Osage Rub AS Azzaro Pour Homme Deo Stick Azzaro Pour Homme EDT This set-up is enough to satisfy any menthol fanatic like myself - the Gatsby facial wash is so cold that even after you rinse it off, the freeze remains. The Egyptian version of Palmolive Menthol cream lathers beautifully and gives the same intense cooling sensation and great skincare as the Italian version, but the scent should be improved. The Visal gel is almost as frigid as the Rubby Dubby Doo!

Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Gel Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Rapira Egyptian Ingram SC Anherb AS Conditioner Osage Rub AS Azzaro Pour Homme Deo Stick Azzaro Pour Homme EDT Like I was telling my good friend Graeme, the fact that I chose Ingram for Menthol Monday was because of his inspiration. This is the Egyptian version which has the same terrific scent and lather, but a stronger cooling effect and a better consistency. The Anherb/Rubby Dubby Doo combination ensures a frozen face for most of the day

Razor: Rolls Razor Brush: #6 Turkish Horsehair Cream: C.O. Bigelow Post Shave: Cold water rinse My first full shave with the Rolls Razor. It was a little difficult to figure out the right angle, but I got it eventually.
Pre Shave: hot towel, Axe chilled face wash Brush: Turkish #6 horsehair Cream: Arko Iced Mint Razor: Gillette Red Tip with Feather blade AS: Osage Rub Aqua Velva (to take away the medicine smell) Axe Chilled ASG The Arko has a great menthol kick, much better than Arko Cool and better even than proraso green. I did not care for the scent, however. The Rub is so chilly it makes my eyes water. The combination of Red Tip and Feather did not work for me in the slightest. I didn't get a particularly close shave, but I did get quite a bit of irritation, so I have that going for me. I got great shaves with the Red Tip and Big Ben blades or Astra SP blades. I think maybe Feathers just aren't for me. Oh well.

Menthol Monday: Axe Chilled Facial Wash #6 Horsehair Super Speed/new Rapira Mama Bear Lemon Ice SS 444 AS Balsam Barbon AS YSL Pour Homme EDT The Axe Chilled is a very good facial wash and it has a decent cooling sensation. I'll keep using it until the weather really gets hot, and then I'll use the Gatsby one. The Mama Bear Lemon Ice soap is very nicely-scented and the lather is great to work with, and the menthol power is quite strong. The 444 balsam and Barbon aftershave can hit you like a ton of menthol bricks!
The Arko Cool cream has no menthol in it at all whatsoever - to this day I cannot figure out why it's called "Cool." The Ice Mint is a super-cooling cream which would be a perfect choice for summer, or if you travel to the tropics. I also agree with you about the Feather blades because not only don't they work for me either, I was so badly cut by them once that I had to go to the hospital.
