I opted for the home mentholated Thing and Barbasol Pacific Rush. BPR seemed almost warm compared to the home mentholated stuff...

 

Inspired by Bob, I created my own "home brew" which is a quite potent menthol additive. Now, just about everything that touches my face is heavy with menthol -- soap, cream, AS, etc. and every day is a menthol day. Love that menthol!!!!!!!!!

 

Hey, Tom. You don't find that that much Bomb kills the scent of your soap?

 

Yes, it does a bit, but CF is pretty full of scent. It was nice...

 

So Menthol Monday was disrupted but it ran into Tuesday. Shower and shave after working out. It was in the 90's before the shower but I went outside to get the mail afterwards and a cold front must have pushed through. Global warming my hind end.

 

As soon as my M-Bomb gets here, I will add it to my Witch Hazel / Alum Powder blend and see if I can kick it up a notch or two!

M-BOMB IT BABY!

 

Ok folks, here is what I did and it has considerably increased the utility of the menthol crystals: pulverize them in a mortar and pestle (glass is best and use a smooth one, not like the kind you see with the huge divots) to a sprinkleable powder. Stick them in a zippy bag and add a few sprinkles into your soap/snurdle before you get into the shower; they'll melt. Lather as usual and voila! Awesome freeziness! If you do this, err on the side of less is more until you figure it out. It only takes me as much as that sticks to my fingertip, then I wipe it off into the bowl/mug onto the SC/SS. Perfect.


I did this to some Bigelow for my Menthol Monday tribute and washed it down with Skin Bracer knock-off. Also put some crystals in my shampoo the other day and have been chilling my skull everyday too. Redefines Head&Shoulders!

Shaved this morning using my GFT lime cream and lime skin food. Worked all day helping my son on his Eagle project. Returned home and there was a box on my porch from TSD.
