All I can say is I had a Mother Of All Menthol Shaves - nothing like the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap, the Diana balm which is as cold as hell, and the Snake Bite aftershave splash. Wowzer, what a beautiful freeze!

Good morning fellow Denizens! Today is my first official Menthol Monday shave.
I only have Proraso Green(tube) so my shaves are gonna be pretty boring. I'm giving my Omega 10098 the week off and switching back to my Omega 6212 Silvertip. Using the dry brush technique, the 6212 whipped up a glorious, slick, shiny lather. Since weekday stubble is kinda short, I set my SA-109 on "7" for my first pass, and "5" for the second. The half pass on my neck alone was also a "5". Altogether a DFS to start off the workweek. A splash of Proraso Green A/S, "South Saturn Delta" by Hendrix on the stereo in my truck and Monday started out great!

Today's shave was with Proraso Green(tube). My Omega 6212 whipped it up slick and shiny. The DE89BL/Shark combo mowed down the weekday stubble no problem. Finished up with Proraso Green A/S Splash. Nice and to start the week!

This shave was so frigid that I thought my face would fall off. This Glacial Obsidian soap definitely can compete with the Cryogen for menthol power and it's so much easier to lather. (not to mention that it has a real scent and great skincare!) The matching balm has that same freeze and skincare - ahhhhhhhhh, does it feel terrific. I strongly urge care to be exercised with the Arctique because it can wreak havoc on somebody's skin if they can't tolerate powerful menthol. I had a beautiful BBS shave!
