Went a little easy with the menthol today. As I've mentioned, too much seems to mask the scent of my soaps. I used TSD Wild Rose today and wanted as much of that sweet smell as I could get. JoAnna describes it quite accurately, "a lovely rose scent reminiscent of Maine's wild coastal roses." Being from Maine, I can tell you, it's spot on. Can't wait for next month - going up to visit the folks for a week :happy108

 

I made a contribution to MM by using my Van Der Tea Tree with Bigelow and Menthol crystal mixed in and some boosted Barbasol Pacific Rush.

It was a nice frosty face for this hot and humid monday night.

I posted in the SOS thread, but my contribution was using my boosted Van Der Tea with some Bigelow SC.

Thought about using my boosted Barbasol Pacific Rush, but am growing tired of the scent. Used IvyClub Spice. Not sure if I will boost it or not, but have been enjoying it.

Unfortunately, that is the extent of my Menthol products. I do have some crystals from my enabler, but trying to figure out what to use them in.

 

Have you tried any in your shampoo yet? Not unheard of as Pert Plus Fresh is a mentholated version of Pert Plus.

 

I've been toying with adding some to body wash, but I'm not sure it's such a good idea. I keep my head shaved with a 00000 blade for my clipper. I haven't used shampoo in a number of years.

 

Ah, ha. I see. I can't think of any reason menthol in your body wash would cause problems. Then again, I'm neither a doctor nor a scientist, so don't take my word for it .

Prep = Hot towel on face.
More Prep = Iced SubZero Preshave Balm + 3 drops M Bomb - marinated for 20 min

Soap = Iced SubZero + 4 drops M Bomb
Razor = Black handled 1940's Tech
Blade = Feather 2nd day (love that blade - what is all the hype about?)
Post Shave = iced water cold towel compress
AS = AV iced Blue + 3 drops M Bomb

BRRRRRRRRR what a nice mid day shave!
