Mentholated shave soaps

Oh, the Shaving Yeti's Yeti Snot is another hyper-mentholated soap which can freeze a man to Kingdom Come. Smells great, but I find it to be lacking somewhat in skincare compared to the Glacials.

Yeti snot sounds exactly like what it is hahaha. Like it will make your nose run

 

It can do that to your nose also.

 

Godrej Menthol Mist is a really good shaving cream, and also has plenty of menthol face freeze.

 

looking forward to getting my mbomb from TSD!!! I've gotten hooked on that cool between passes feel of Noxzema and proraso green.

 

Where do I get that? Off ebay?

 

Does noxzema have menthol? I had no idea. I have never tried it but I have never had anyone mention it either =P

What are you gonna use the m-bomb in?

 

Noxzema contains camphor, menthol, and Eucalyptus. Not sure where I will use the mbomb, but probably the Nivea Sensitive, or the Bodyshop maca root.

 

Just used the Glacial Obsidian soap and I'm shivering!

You were right, fantastic! Right now I have Orange Chill, Lemon Chill, Glacial Spearmint, MITA and a little bit of Glacial Obsidian. Currently Glacial Obsidian is my favorite but it isn't available on Stirlings site so I am searching the boards for some.

Adding the TSD MBomb to Arko really works out well. 3 or 4 drops is about right for me but I really like the Freeze! I also tried the Mbomb with Stirlings Lime soap and liked it very much.

Now, back to the search for more Glacial Obsidian!

 

I do like Maggards Orange Menthol soap.

 

Stirling's Glacial Obsidian, as Jeff mentioned above, is probably the coldest menthol soap I've used. Previous to that, Stirling's Black Ice held that title for manufactured menthol pucks.
The most mentholated shaving experience was using the Black ice with too many drops (8-10) of TSD M-Bomb. Watering eyes, runny nose, pink numb face. Not the effect I was going for….

Really nice. But I got the same effect as you describe hahaha. Now when I wanna use it I mix it in with my craftsman unscented =D

 

As I also pointed out, I find ALL the Glacial soaps to be equally frigid. The Lavender, which is a relatively new Glacial scent left me with a cold tingle which lasted for almost 20 minutes after my shave the last time I used it.

 

Are you on a menthol high? =)

You should try The shave den shop Lemongrass with 1xmenthol or 2xmenthol if you can take a glacial soap haha. I really love the scent, and for me 1x is plenty menthol =P
