It’s mild, but less mild than a contour or a push button, even though the push button is technically the same head. A Gem G bar is also very nice if you’re looking at a Featherweight.
The micromatics- open comb, clog prof, flying wing( bullet tip), the little lather catchers, and shovel heads are the most common models on the aggressive side. The true old lather catchers( 90-100yrs) are usually medium aggressiveness to aggressive, but some are very smooth.

Nice setup. If your Blue Tip seems a little mild try shimming it with a used trimmed down blade. I did it with my Red Tip and it made it a little more aggressive. The shave is still smooth and comfortable. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
Thanks, Clayton. I have more aggressive razors on hand for when I'm in the mood for them. The Blue Tip has such a small sweet spot it helps to keep my technique in check and fun to use. Thanks for the advice though. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Had to take my New birth year Gillette 1959 E4 Fatboy for it's resurrected first shave with it's new owner (ME), cleaned up it looks fairly new & was handled & looked after very well by previous owners. The shave is a little different than my Gillette slim because it arches the blade more in the barn doors bay when closed(smooth). Results CCS,DFS,BBS and can't complain about those results on started setting 5 and changing to 6 on Gillette aggressiveness system on the fly:a12:. Alum block indicated no issues with skin irritation.Gillette 7 Oclock (2) and it performed well. For the first shave it felt good in the hand and the shave was excellent and in my sweet spot for final results. Have some great shaves.
Great shave! Does the head geometry feel very different compared to other Gillettes? You mentioned that it bent the blade more.
To me it seems a little more smoother because the depth of head is larger but it's early to really go out of my way to say it's smoother overall than the Slim. More shaves will zero my settings on the blade gap. It has some heft and for $20.00 bucks I was not going to let it go. Their is a difference in area were the blade is pushed up into the winged "barn" door roof, not sure what the angle difference would be on the arc but it is still a change! Have some great shaves!
