I have done the same thing with Mystic Water. When I was a newbie, I tried leaving Tabula Rasa on my face and... let's just say, I don't do that anymore.
Watch Jonathan Romanov when he used PannaCrema Nuàvia Blu if you go to 17:45 he used this soap just like a moisturising cream or lotion straight after his shave nothing else.
I never mentioned that MWF has changed, I believe the artisan soap makers that we have blow away MWF, you will never find a soap better than Stirling Electric Sheep. IMHO. Easy to lather, FANtastic post shave.
I like the Fat, I'm not anti-Fat Like you mention below if they had different flavors boy it would be wonderful.
I get where you are coming from. You know i love my soaps and i love different artisans. BUT if MWF had more scents id probably have nothing but the fat. There is no soap in my opinion that is as slick, and has as good of a post shave feel. There are some that are close like stirling, tiki, mikes natural, mickey lee, stroppe shoppe. But they arent better IMO. yours might be different and thats ok by me.
The MWF is on deck for tomorrow's shave. To be followed up with either Fine "American Blend" or Clubman.
I actually prefer the subtle scent of MWF in the rotation. Similar to 'Cade' from L'Occitane, MWF has a simple, subtle (some would call it 'soapy') fragrance that doesn't fight with whatever aftershave fragrance I so choose. I do enjoy having a variety of scented soaps, but there are times when 'simple & subtle' is what I'm after....
Oh i absolutely love the scent of MWF. I was just saying if they had multiple scents i could be happy only using those soaps.
Shaved with MWF this morning for Wool Fat Wednesday. Using the dry brush technique and JJ#1(tribute brush by @jimjo1031) whipped up a great, slick lather. I like the fact that you can use pretty much any A/S you want with it. This saves me from buying an unscented soap. My wallet likes that.
I used MWF the other day and had a superb shave. Top shelf style. If MWF was the only soap I had to use, I'd be in great shape.
MWF on tap for Sunday's start of the shave/work week. New audition blade also; PolSilver Super Iridium. I'm thinking this is going to be a close shave. Can't wait.
You won't even feel the blade, the stubble just disappears. MWF always leaves my face feeling moisturized. Clayton Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
No you can't melt MWF and IF you do you will damage the soap formula and some of the ingredient and the lather will look crap.
Shaved again this morning with the Fat. I could see making this my one and only soap. No matter the brush or razor/blade I get really great close shaves. The only problem is I have some really great soaps that I love also. Great problem to have, huh.
