I know brother, I laughed my self stupid. I know..you know....how it urks me to know some folks call VDH cheap but have to add it to their "good" soaps to get lather.
Yeah I know. I feel like if you're gonna mix them for that reason it's a bad reason. I would maybe experiment with scents. But if my soap sucks then it sucks @Cool Breeze do you buy your VDH in packs of 12? =P i was just browsing online and saw the price off 12 on amazon
As far as mixing soaps I'm in the purist category. About VDH, it is a great lathering soap but the SLS in it causes me irritation.
Yes, but where's the challenge in that? The first time I used MWF, I didn't get great lather. But after doing some research and realizing I wasn't adding enough water, problem solved. Great billows of lather ensued. Of course, we're blessed with ultra-soft water here in NorCal so that's half the battle resolved. I actually have a more difficult time now getting decent face lathering from Stirling soap pucks......and yes, I've watched Rod's video on youtube. Could very well be 'user error.' MWF clouds.....
I can get 12 pucks about a block from my house but its in great supply so I just grab what I need. I have noticed though the VDH soap is about 10 deep when they stock it and at times I grab the last one,so I know Im not the only one using it.
For what one MWF soap costs plus shipping on Amazon, I could get a 2 dozen VDH or Williams Soap at the CVS Pharmacy by my house.
Still havent gotten around to getting the EO's. My $40.00 tub of MWF should be in my p.o.box by now, I'll find out tom.
I really do hope u like it. Its a shame to throw away $40. To bad i won't participate in the pif hahaha
Yea, I wont toss it. If one of my boys doesnt want it I'll pif it. Besides, if I send you anything it'll be a couple pucks of VDH. You boys across the pond dont know what you're missing.
