Mongoose Owners Razor Society (MORS)

I'm hoping it will just show up, soon, without warning. My date is the same as yours. I will keep you posted if I hear or see anything.

 

I sent Mongoose an email and received a response. They will ship later this week.

 

One more week until we get it in our possession then. I don't mind waiting as long as I know I'm getting one sooner or later.

This is probably due to production issues they are having. In one of my emails from a month ago they wrote "There is a delay on the Satin due to a rejected shipment from our vendor, so it may be an extra week or so before we send you an invoice if you ordered Satin." Whatever that means. Producing these things seems like a nightmare.

 

However, I sure do love my Mongoose!!! How about y'all ???

I just received my tracking # on my AlumiGoose.

 

I didn't see an option to buy the AlumiGoose in the ordering brochure. I didn't know I could order it.

I got tracking number today too for my Mongoose.

 

Will do. I have some Feather Professional blades and a Kai Captain Mild to compare.

 

It was a limited production run. Many of use had requested the option to buy an Aluminum Mongoose if one was ever made. We received the email yesterday with ordering instructions. The head and handle option was sold out in minutes. I did get a get a head only. It should enter regular production sometime in 2016.

 

Good choices. I have had my B2 Mongoose almost a full year now. It's one of my favorite razors.

 

One day I hopefully will join this illustrious group. I do wish you had a different name though.
MORS in Danish means mothers, so each time I'm quickly scrolling through Tapatalk I'm wondering why there's a mothers group here

 

Does the mongoose ship from FL or somewhere else?

 

I thought they shipped from South Florida.

 

The AlumiGoose is one of the few acquisitions I plan to make next year (that's if I'll be able to order one ) That and either a Shavemac finest or a Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger brush

 

My tracking started in MA. Is that where they are manufactured?

 

Could be it's been a year since I got my B2.
