With that many blades you should have enough blades for 2 months or more. After trying all the blades, I found the Feather Pro blades to work very well for me. I alternate between the Feather Pro and Feather Super Pro blades.

 

I dont shave every day so probably longer than that =)

The Feather pro gave me a very nice shave today. Im Reading different experiences some are getting 15 shaves and I read today on this thread someone getting 4 shaves. 4 shaves is to few. I'm hoping on 8-10 shaves per blade.

I'm very curious about the different blades. I might get a blade sampler but not yet =) I feel the need of knowing how they shave

I would have never considered going ATG on the first pass. I come from the straight razor frame of mind. Anyway, I just did it with the Goose. ATG on the first pass and just a touch up with XTG. Incredible shave. Thanks Clint, again.

 

Glad it worked well for you. I know it sounds crazy but I think it works because the blade is rigid and sharp.

 

Hello, please tell me that everything is ok. I placed an order via email to mongoosee. They put me on waiting list and after only a week I received a PayPal ivoice. I paid it and now already one week passed without any news from the and no tracking number. Is everything ok ? How long I should wait for shipment info?

 

Do you live in the U.S? There might be delays for customers outside the states. Try emailing them and find out

 

I live in Europe union. I emailed them week ago, no answer at all... :-(

 

I live in Europe but had the razor shipped to my aunt in NY. From receiving the invoice early December, it took 11 days until I got the "on its way" confirmation. I know that the 'goose guys had issues with deliveries outside of the US and put a freeze on them for a while until getting a new arrangement (presumably with tracking, as that was the problem - or rather lack thereof after shipment left US); I don't know any more details about that I am afraid. I am sure you'll hear from them soon.

 

Understood, so I need to wait longer... They offered me shipping for 30 usd, but didnt mentioned it will be such delay...

 

They do not ship outside the states.

In order to get mine, I had to ask my good friend Kerry to receive it and then send it to me in Sweden

 

Check your email, junk mail etc. they emailed me and told me they don't ship razors outside the US anymore

 

Thats strange, because they asked me if i am outside us and agreed to ship to EU for 30 usd. Email checked, nothing on it...

 

I checked out TryABlade. They ship the sampler for 5$. So its 7 blades for 15$ its Linda pricey, but it Will probably be worth it.

Also because i received 10 Feather Pro from Kerry I thought it Would be smart to ask the owner of the site if I could switch out the Feather Pro in tje sampler for another blade. Maybe kamisori or Kai or whatever. But it might not be as smart as I thought because I already know that this blade works well, maybe I would want more of it instead of less =P

I mean, I'm happy for you! I'm just annoyed they said no to me. But hey, my Mongoose sits on my shelf right now, what do I have to complain about.

Agree with you, something really strange... Anyway, I have PayPal insurance, so in worst case always get my money back... :-(

 

That is true, but I bet you want a razor and not your money back

Have you ordered a sample pack?

 

With my last order that was placed this past December, it took a little over a week to get shipping information.
Each time I have sent them an email I have had a response, sometimes it takes a few days but I always receive a response.

 

You are right, i want this razor, as i have Jurgen Hempel Ufo handle and it can be in pair only with mongoose, a perfect, futuristic Prometeus movie sspaship style pair So money back is not tne option... No, i still dont have any blades... Thinking about Feather guard blades... I love Feather, jt Japan quality, hope they are good... But as I am not sure about my order, dont want to buy blades... :-(

 

Haha i look forward to some pictures of this futuristic combination once you get your razor.

No you shouldn't buy blades before knowing your razor has shipped =) I hope you get some info about your razor soon. I know how hard the wait is
