My thoughts would be pick one soap and stick with it until I mastered the razor. I would think 5 or 10 shaves should help you dial in the razor.

2/4/16 B2 Satin Mongoose with Feather Super Pro (2) Another fantastic shave today with the Mongoose. I have found that I prefer the Feather Super Pro blade when using the Mongoose. With this combo, I can get consistently great drama free shaves.
It looks better than it performs unfortunately..The handle is extremely light in hand and an odd shape. I continually drop it, usually into the sink with it fully lathered
