I see that now. I got mine from the other thread listing Triad Handles in stock. I got lucky and saw both handles when Toby posted and bought them.

 

Guess they are gone in both threads and on Etsy.

 

They go on Etsy in minutes. I set it up to email me when someone posted to the in stock thread. Then I checked etsy and bought.

 

You have far more talent than I with this stuff.

 

Simply put - supply and demand. They were out of stock for a while and in the last few weeks (maybe month+) Maggard got some in stock. There were some on the bay at what I would consider unreasonable prices - but some people were either impatient or uninformed and bought anyway.

Since they seem to be back in stock at the typical sites - I think that's why the price for used is going down.

 

I should know better than to grab my Mongoose without putting a new blade in it. Two weepers and some irritation today. Time for a new blade

Whipped up a great lather and enjoyed a peaceful quite shave. Lock on the bathroom door helps. Why you say, well someone calls, my wife says, do you want to talk to Bill, "No I'm Shaving". Wish I had a dollar for every time that has happened.
The new Hempel Titanium was worth the investment. I took less time to come from Germany than it takes to come from 300 miles from my place.

I like that lock idea! The other thing that gets me when she asks me a question when I'm brushing my teeth! That's a reality nice handle BTW!

I recently got my hands on a Mongoose. I'm currently three shaves in (pictured is my first) and so far I like it. The wide head is a blessing for the neck area
