The Mongoose loaded with a Proguard blade is still one of my favorite combo’s.

Would that be a B-2 Mongoose? Great picture Roger.

Today I used my B3 with a Feather Pro Blade for the first time in a while, as I have favoured use of the Schick Proline . An absolutely ultra smooth experience with a Face Stroking Finish.
By the way can a Limey be in the Club ?:)

    Guys,

i need you to help me out.

Is it true, that Mongoose do not not longer produce their Razor?

A guy in our German Forum posted this...

Personally i don't think that this is true, because I've never heared or read something like that.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

I saw the same...asked him if this Information is verified and where he has that rumor from...

But this rumor would be completely new to me. And it would be very surprising...

    Douglas,

We haven't heard from Mongoose in a very long time. To our knowledge they ceased all production, we're not sure if they're done for good or not though.

I received an e-mail back from a legacy e-mail account some time ago to the effect of 'no future production presently planned'. I took it as a sign to explore alternatives, tried the ATT SE1 and SE2, then a Blackland Vector P which is one of my favorite shavers, I like the Sabre L2 P better for results, but the Vector handles better IMHO, less bulk/heft.

I think the inventory at Maggard is all that's left on the open market. Shame, it is a great razor. I have the SS, AL and Minigoose editions. They are fun razors to use.
