I suggest any Russian made blades or Gillette blades. My favorites so far is as follows. In no order besides the first... Gillette Silver Blue! Nacet Personna isreali Red PermaSharp feather Bolzano Chrystal Any 7O’Clock PolSilver Rapira
I tend to use Voskhod in my Shavette it’s a lot smoother than others for just that reason, not too harsh exactly what I’m looking for when using that beast!!!
Also I’ve only been Traditional WetShaving for 11 months and in that time I have only been shaving maby 1-2 times a week tops but this month I’m going to start the October 30 day rule/focus thing, to see witch blades I really like and how long I can use them. Never really used a blade until it started to get rough or start to tug. I normally throw them out after three or four Shaves. I’m most likely going to keep a journal or notebook of my findings ... sounds weird but I’m real into the hobby now and I’ll end up forgetting witch blade lasts longer than others
Also I’m going to use my Vintage Gillette “NEW” LongComb and try and get better with it. ......Even though it smells like old Penny’s!!!! =]
