    Musgo all the way!

Proraso is fool proof and a good performer, but I find its lather to be thicker and not quite as a good as Musgo.

Quality of lather is about the same, all depends on how much water you add. Comfort without using any kind of pre-shave probably goes to the Musgo Real. It's a little slicker. Smell is totally up to the user. To me I guess the best way to describe them would be that the Musgo shave is comforting and the Proraso shave is refreshing. But, if you held a gun to my head and said I could use only one, it would be the Proraso.

But I thought you preferred thick lather - I think I read in one of your posts that you didn't fancy the Edwin Jagger ShaveCreams because of its lather quality - maybe it was another poster....

I'm about to order some great menthol/mint ShaveCream and Williams Menthol cream is nowhere to be found. So my only choice is Proraso, since I already bought the Mühle AloeVera mint ShaveCream.

Not a bad choice this Proraso stuff incidentally though :)

I've been using it for almost 30-years and it has served me well. Put their pre-shave menthol cream on a wet face, use their menthol shave cream, and rinse with cold water when your through, and you will be refreshed.

No it was me I don' want thick or thin, I like a nice balance between slick and cushion. The only exception is JoAnna's wheat cream, you can shave with a thin lather with zero issues.

Believe me, I would much rather shave with Proraso than anything from MP/EJ.
