    They don't sell news. They sell advertising. Telling the truth and maintaining ad revenue are many times mutually exclusive activities, each injurious to the other's end. They should call it what it is, and that term is entertainment or escape, not news.

    Didn’t we have a news story of sorts a few years ago, and the Chinese govt was mixing plastic rice looking pellets in with the rice that they were feeding remote peasants? That was super inorganic.
