Please accept my apology for bringing up your pet peeve. I don't know much about a lot of things, however, farming has been my life and for the most part, still is. I just hate when I know for a fact people are being mislead when it comes to food and what it takes to commercialy produce it in order to feed the world.

 

Household vinegar is a mixture of acetic acid and water. Dawn concentrate contains dyes, SLS, and other stuff. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate.

It would be more accurate to market this stuff as "non-radioactive" than "chemical free."

 

Benzene, C6H6, is a 100% organic chemical. Must be good for you, right?

 

I like it when I'm car shopping and the salesman asks how much of a monthly payment I can afford.

 

I love waiting in line all night for the latest iPhone.

 

I really enjoy seeing this.

 

This makes me downright giddy.

 

Come to think of it, snake venom is all natural, too.

 

As is Asbestos.

 

Nothing is safe or real anymore. I'll be in my room.

 

There's less chance of radon exposure if you sit out on the prairie. Of course, you'll need to balance that against the risk of increased UV exposure.

And living in a cardboard box is not all it's cracked up to be...with the possible fire hazards and the toxicity of the adhesives being used these days.

Living under a rock looks to be a better option.

 

No joke, the background radiation (gamma and beta) in Colorado is 3-5 times that of Kentucky. This radiation is also from the sun, and some other cosmic sources. And don't dig a hole in the prairie without venting it though, radon mitigation is required in new construction and is an issue here.

I've tried that. It's overrated, but effective. Gets old quick.

 

Wonder Woman! Wow, while I can see where they're coming from, it's pretty sad it's come to that. I feel very fortunate to have been able to grow up in a time when things were so much more simple.

In the small town where I grew up I can remember going to school and where the students parked it was nothing to see 4-5 pickup trucks with a gun or two hanging in the back window, mine being one of them. No one ever gave it a second thought. That will get you arrested now, lol.

 

I carried a G.I. Joe lunchbox. I guess that wouldn't be cool now, either.

I later switched to a Laugh-In lunchbox. I may well have been ahead of my time.

 

I've read the Book. It only gets worse.

 

Oh, it hasn't even started in earnest yet. I'm with ya.
