MWF Week 2/20-2/26

I may be able to get in on the tail end of this. I found somewhere in Winnipeg that carries the Kent label MWF in the wood bowls. SCORE.

 

Will be money well spent! MWF is one of the classics you just HAVE to try!

 

I have been using MWF all week. I find it a good way to improve my lathering.

 

Kind of bummed, I was looking forward to this past week. I love MWF but with all the other soaps in the cabinet I dont shave with just 1 soap for an entire week straight( as much as I want to I just cant do it) Anyway after only 2 or 3 days using the fat,I broke out. I had about 5 zits on my face and neck and figured it was the fat>>>> early this morning I get a text from the guy that runs my machines on day shift.....he is broke out also! sounds like we need to change the coolant in the machines. maybe it was the fat or maybe the coolant. I will begin shaving with the fat again tomorrow.

 

For now, let's blame those darn machines.

 

I really don't want to stop using the fat now.....all my shaves this week were stellar. I also moved my MWF to a sealed container too. It was just in an open air ramekin thing and was nearly cracked all the way through.

 

It has been a good week spent with my British friend, but I look forward to spending time with my Italian and German friend this coming week.

Thanks to however came up with the Idea. I have had a lot of fun this week as I took the opportunity to rediscover some of the equipment I have stashed away over the years! I now believe that best results with 'The Fat' are achieved when the soap is used frequently...or at least a few days in succession. The puck rehydrated itself and was much easier to lather as the week progressed. What is next on the Agenda?

 

SE Week starts March 6. And remember, injectors and str8s are SE, too.

 

That will be another EASY week to do.
