I very easily get a bowl full of lather with MWF. The problem is that the lather is very loose with big bubbles in it. Once I apply it to my face it dissipates very quickly. How can I get it to a more yogurt like consistency? I really want to like this soap, it it sure ain’t making it easy for me.

You're starting with too much water and too little soap.

Start with a brush that's damp rather than sopping wet. Load like you hate it and want to use it up as soon as possible. Like about 60 seconds of loading. When the brush looks like it's pasty, then start adding water a few drops at a time, until you get to the point where the brush slides easily around the bowl. If you overshoot the mark, go back to the puck for more product.

It also helps if you work the lather slowly. Big bubbles can also be caused by too-vigorous brush work.
