That is intreating.. I went to look at both of mine the tube and the tub both say shaving soap.I wonder if someone messed up with the tubes and put soap on them then they just used them anyway.? It is very good stuff in opinion both the cream and soap. Fuzzy
Just got mine in the last week or so, from Barclay Crocker. Maybe Omega changed the label recently or something.
Ditto, CVS up here sells them for about a dollar a piece. If you want to paypal me some cash I can send you as many pucks as you desire as long as you cover shipping I don't mind taking time to send them.
I really need to get me some of that MWF! I think my fav is the C&E Sandalwood so far. I have a couple TSD soaps on the way though!
I second (or 3rd, 4th and 5th) everything ChemErik wrote! If I could choose only one there is no doubt: MWF!
Tabac's better than Michael's Wool Fat, while l'Occitane's Cade makes of mockery of them both. Vergulde Hand is also spectacular and, like Cade, inexpensive. Mitchell's other toiletries are surprisingly unremarkable given their prices.
I use and really like: Proraso Shaving Soap with Aloe and Green Tea. To add, I really like most of the Proraso line, including the pre-shave, and after shave lotion.
Habibi, L'Occitane Cade has a fantastic scent, great lather, but it has for me a serious drying and irritating effect. Tabac and De Vergulde Hand do me so much more good.
Palmolive stick works every time for me and I like the scent. Omega is like Proraso. Take the bowl and the cream in it is harder. The bowl says shaving soap. Look (Thanks for the picture Giovanni)
I have to go with L'Occitane Cade. It lathers extremely well, and the soap (unlike Cade cream) I have never found to be drying or irritating.
Haven't tried any of those up there aside from MWF. However, having tried GFT Limes soap, Penhaligon's English Fern and Blenheim Bouquet soap, Cella soap, Saint Charles Shave soap, tallow first Palmolive shavestick, tallow first Erasmic shavestick, Speick shavestick and cream, Proraso green and red cream, Santa Maria Novella cream, Nivea cream, Nancy Boy Replenishing cream, Art Of Shaving cream, Headslick cream, Arko cream, and Tom's of Maine mint cream, I can still say that MWF gives me the best shave next to Santa Maria Novella. Anyone can write MWF off as much as they want, because it didn't work for them, but I know there are tons of others who found it to work amazingly. It's just a subjective thing
