Wishing you a speedy recovery. A friend of mine (knee and hip surgeon) recommended the Tenex procedure when I was suffering tennis elbow last year. Amazing the things that our medical professionals can do these days.
Hope all goes well Sara! It can get boring when a person looses mobility. Perhaps a good book, puzzle, or some other non-physical hobby could help.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Check out the Cartoon Network, they may be having a Bugs Bunny marathon.
Back from a follow-up visit with my orthopedist. My foot is healing well and feeling only a minimum of pain (which is not constant.) I can begin o resume routine activities & no longer need to wear the cast boot. This is great news, of course, but after 2 weeks of relative inactivity, I am exhausted from the drive (35 minutes each way) and a 5-minute session on the stationary bike.
It's amazing just how limiting it can be to lose the ability to drive for awhile. And how fast one's stamina declines when a leg injury slows one down. Glad to hear you have your car keys back and are able to resume normal movement again. Best wishes for continued good recovery, Sara.
