My Murray and Lanman's Rose Cologne Story

I recently bought a case of the Peruvian variety. The main difference between US and Peru varieties is the color, and the Peru factory uses alcohol made from sugar cane, plus, the Peru version is a tad more on the cinnamon/clove side, which, I prefer!

The M&L Rose is still available from the factory and from Shoebox as Steve linked to above.. We sent a bottle of the M&L Rose to a TSD member a few years ago during the secret santa exchange. The M&L Rose is quite very rosy!

 

ML Florida Water has also become one of my favorite summer scents. I got a TSD soap with menthol added, and finish with Osage Rub then FW. The TSD scent is excellent IMHO.

 

If that wasn't enough FW, I also got the TSD Cologne for that scent, which is excellent as well.

 

What does Florida Water smell like?

 

A little swampy!

 

Did you look for Florida Water in the Hispanic grocery stores in your area? That's where I got mine. Also, shoeboxshaveshop has it, but the grocery store is usually cheaper.

 

I am no scent expert, but for me it is like an orangee version of Old Spice or bay rum. I am curious how others might describe it.

Anyone try Hoyt's Cologne is it similar to Florida Water?
