My New Exec Plated by RazorPlate

I know about the black chrome. I'm working with Chris on a '58 fat boy that will have a rhodium head and TTO knob and a black chrome handle and adjustment dial. Gonna be sweet!

I got word from Chris that my F4 Toggle stripped and awaiting its bath in the plating tank.

 

Oh boy, a toggle! That razor is gonna be happy after its bath! Plating it in what? Nickel? Rhodium? Gold? Maybe black chrome? Some mystery metal?

You're gonna have to post pics when that baby comes back!

 

The Toggle is my Birth Quarter Razor and is being replated in its original Gold. Looking to get another to have replated in Nickel as I cant afford the $1800 one listed on the Bay. Here it is waiting, I think it still needs to have another dip in stripping, and this is with the lacquer and paint removed.

 

She's a beauty, even not done. The gold is amazing! You're gonna be a happy camper!
