The box has made it's full rotation and is back in my living room. It's going to take a short vacation and it there is any interest we'll start another round maybe before the end of May.

The last one was fun and I might be interested, but we've got May-July scheduled up the (creek), so rather problematic. I'll wait to see how this develops.

 

If you want in I can make sure your placement in the line up would be more in the tail end.

 

I pulled everything from the box and tossed the cardboard. The wood, since it was saturated with AS and etc, I'm painting them white to block the scent. I pulled the Star razor
head due that it got damaged in transit (threaded shaft snapped off). I also pulled two leaky bottles of AS (off brand SB) and Ginger Garden Fougere Fern (may try to get a better cap for it).

Glad you got a puck of vintage Williams. I put two in when I had the box but wasn't sure if either would make it to the end of the line.

 

I seriously thought of taking 1 of them as I have never tried the vintage but decided to leave them... Is it much different from the modern ?

 

The older formula has tallow.
Hard water at my house so the old stuff lathers like a champ for me.
I’ve tried the new stuff but there’s no comparison.

I figured out a way to seal the Ginger Garden Fougere Fern by removing the cap and laying a sandwich bag over the opening and replacing the cap. It makes a nice little seal; it wanted to keep leaking through the flip spout. If it was a scent I enjoyed I would have kept it, but it’s not for me.

 

If you need me to fill out the roster, you can put me in at the end of the tour.

 

You can put me at the top of the Roster. Lol
Leave plenty of room in the Box.

That said ..... I purging as well.

 

I'll be posting the sign up for new traveling box for 2022 in the next few days, so keep an eye out for it. It'll have few minor changes in the rules / expectations of the participants ......... mostly courtesy and etiquette. Aiming for it to start at the tail end of the month May.

By the way I noticed I literally have multiple boxes and containers of brushes to be restored. If you have a request for a non-restored or restored (probably synthetic), let me know.
