The old box doesn't say Large Flat Rate Box on it.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

The flat rate boxes don't say flat rate on every side, but I saw a USPS announcement from 2008 introducing the large flat rate box as 12 x 12 x 5 1/2. The box on the right can't be a flat rate box.

Anywhere it says Mailing Box, flat rate boxes say Large/Medium/Small Flat Rate box.

The USPS offers quite a lot of different sized Priority boxes (flat rate and non-flat rate). I would imagine the Large/Medium/Small Flat Rate box indicator helps the postal worker charge the right price, load the trucks, etc.

Wow the box has moved very quickly in this run, thanks everyone for moving it along. After Frank C are the last two stops. Then back to Arkansas for a much needed rest, before heading out next year.

I'm sorry to say the box has been sick with the flu. I will make sure he gets out of bed today and starts traveling again.

Received the bawx today and I took the following:
    Black Beauty
    Knack
    Clubman
    Lilac Vegetal
    English Leather
    Mentholated AV Musk
    Pierre Cardin EDT
Soap that smells like Wrigley's Spearmint Gum. I really don't care about the soap, I just like that nifty porcelain lined green bowl with a snap on lid. It'll make a great bowl for my grated Williams Mug Soap.

    I added the following:
Cadet Robusto, which is brand new
    100 Voskod blades
    100 Shark blades
Master's Lord and Master After Shave

There was a few bags with soaps and creams that burst and I removed them, since I can't see anyone wanting those, so I pitched them. Will get in touch with Jeff tonight and see about meeting up with him this weekend to hand the box over to him.

Merry Christmas to you guys. A big thank you for making the Nationwide Box Tour, such a success, without you guys being both dedicated and president in moving the box along. The box made three round trips coast to coast, through, the mid -section, down through the south, up both seaboards. The box experienced a few miscues but was a great success. I have fun organizing it and watching travel.

Once the box has a little rest we will start all over next year.

only suggestion I have and I think some people went ahead and took it upon themselves to do so, is weed out some of the older stuff or broken/ spilt items.

blanka I will not eat my shaving products. Promise.

+1 on this. I always try to weed it out a little, but so much unidentified/broken/older stuff remains. This may sound silly, but what about an open call for one donation from each participant prior to starting the next tour? Kind of like an up-front ante? That'd get some fresh stuff in the box, without putting the pressure on Brad to do it.

One recommendation that I'd like to make is on labeling stuff. If it's a shave cream in a tube or tub, its already taken of. There was an awful lot of old crusty and smashed soaps that had no labeling of what they were, or when they were put in the box. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to use them.
