The half block of mystery soap I took, I believe is a block of shave soap, it lather like shave soap had a nice glide. There is a half remaining, hopefully someone else can try it and let us know.

Last minute thoughts, please keep a good flow of communication going remember to post our tracking numbers and send me the tracking numbers too. Final word if it is broken or not useable think of the other members not place in the box.
But one last thing LET'S HAVE FUN!!

i'm looking forward to the mystery of what the box contains. The box tour is a great idea because it gives people a chance to check out a product rather than ordering blindly online and not liking the scent or something. It is also a chance to help out a newbie and/or seasoned wet shavers.

I always try to put in more and better than I remove, and shoot for fast turnaround. Hoping I can do the same this time.

New to this area; no idea if there's any postcards herebouts.

EDIT: posted this before I saw the route. Woo hoo! Hopefully the box o' razors my dad's sending out today gets here in time to drop in a nice Gillette or two (I have no idea what he's sending).

Exactly. The Box has told me of legendary products I would have regretted buying, and other humbler ones that I'd now be happy to purchase (and some good ones that live up to the hype).

Yeah, but there's nothing around here attraction-worthy. I'll check tho.

the post office had a rack if them, last time I was there.
then again this is Florida, everyone has postcards. the have special sites for postcards, shot glasses, t-shirts.

we buy all that stuff from China.
    real Florida souvenir?
    sand

I heard it's illegal to take sand home.

I'm sure quantity has some bearing here, but I've never heard that.

I just made it up...was thinking of the rocks from Hawaii or whatever they are. Saw that on the Brady Bunch. Spooky stuff. Is Florida haunted, too?

Box arrive safely and perfectly packed. So did my Dad's. Now comes the hard part...deciding what to take out just to fit what I want to put in. :)

First pic is what I want to keep, partly just to make room (what I don't use I'm storing away for the next box).

Second pic is what I hope will fit. I may have to take more out to do it w/o breakage. If so, I'll post pic of what is removed. I'm not trying to offload non-shaving junk...the watches run perfectly; two I have worn but don't need, figured someone may like them (the red Casio Frogman knockoff is too big for me). The DVDs have been watched once. The fountain pens are Chinese knockoffs of the old Parker 51 but they write well enough, if anyone on the box list wants to start down that road. There's a Rotring multi-pen there, too.

The razors are all in fine working order, even the Frankie.

Anyway, if anyone on the box list has concerns with the non-grooming items, PLEASE say so and I will remove it/them IMG_20150723_160952_235.jpg IMG_20150723_161619_075.jpg .

    It's a...

Senator oc baseplate...travel tech cap and shorty handle stuffed down in a generic marker barrel, which in turn is stuffed into a stainless steel Sharpie pen barrel. The black trim below the head is a rubber bite guard for tobacco pipes.

Shaves pretty well, if I say so myself. But I have the NEW so I don't need Frankie anymore.

I was waiting on the box from my Dad for the Red Tip he sent. Just shaved with it and decided I'll be parting with my doctored Ranger Tech with the Senator doors. It has a hair more agg than the Red Tip so my loss is your...well...try it and see. I'll pull out a ball end Tech to make room.
