So.... "No Buy 2016" has begun! My personal rules/goals are simple - no buys. No new brushes, razors, blades, soaps, creams, bowls/mugs, face washes, you name it. What I am allowed though is: Trades, selling stuff. Ingredients for homemade stuff (because much of it is needed elsewhere in the household as well). Getting the White Whale if it swims by in front of me at a great price (Rubberset 400 brush/handle and/or my birth-year razor). Replenishing inventory in case of discontinued products. What I mean by that last, replenishing, is that if, say, Proraso announces in August: "Hey, we've discontinued the Green line", then I'll allow myself to stock for life when possible. Some products I do not wish to live without, and those I'll stock up on if the word is out that it's being discontinued before I reach 2017. Those products, quickly from the top of my head but not exhausted, is Cella, Green Proraso and Swedish Super Steel blades. I do not, however, count on the need to replenish. But you never know - it's my disclaimer I look forward to a 2016 with much less stress on auction sites and online shops. Also I look forward to engulfing me in what I have, maybe even use something up for good. Last, but not least, I really really look forward to experimenting more with my home made Bay rum splash and with different setups for SOTD photography. Best of luck to ya'll!
You got it all figured out =) you Should buy 2x1kg of Cella and maybe 4x500ml Green Proraso in the bag =P and do that like once a year and freeze them =P
My inventory will not change much except for the soap's tub content to get smaller. I would like to get to the bottom of a couple of them. I may do a couple PIFs but will not take on any new soap inventory.

I didn't even try, I like to buy this stuff also. I like to chat with y'all about it. scope out what everybody else uses. while I applaud those who wish to control their buying. I didn't want to try. good luck to those who did.
