I will not be getting new scales. I've decided that it violates the spirit of what we're trying to do. Likely not. It is now my first project for 2017.
Still good as well. Like @Bama Samurai , I have a few razors in need of new scales, but have plenty that are in great shape so I will wait until 2017 to re scale them
It's tough....I am really liking straights, and I am a perfectionist...but a commitment is a commitment is worth finishing! Adam gave me a great shaving blade, it will look awesome come 2017!
I'm out after 70 days. Just paid for a Simpson 58 Manchurian in tortoise. I'm still restraining from soap, aftershave and scent buys this year. It was fun... later.
You'd think huh? I sure hope the brush lives up to expectations.... Anyway McGoohan swears that the Prisoner was not John Drake.
Except for consumables when I run out, no buying new stuff in 2016 - or forever. I like my life nice and simple. I did buy a new puck of soap a month ago, but only after the old one was completely used up.
Still fine here. Looked in my shaving gear cabinet and am amazed at what I have piled up.. Of course, you have to like Williams SS since that is the bulk of my soaps. But I do like it so should have no problem at all.
Here. March has been new Razor month. Been using my Fatip that was recently exchanged, used a new Slim that was gifted to me, and just used a NEW Deluxe today that I won in a PIF. I'll probably keep playing with these for a while, then try out the MMOC that I bought back in December but haven't tried yet.
I am trading a vintage Schick and some blades for a restoration project, but no money is changing hands, only goods I already own. Still here.
