If this is anything like last year, I will be good until October and then find a fantastic deal on something and buy it and then maybe a few pucks of soap etc. Last year I was doing really well until I opened my last tuck of Rapira Swedes. I found them on ebay for about $5/100, bought a few cards of them but then discovered CTAPT SC that I haven't had for a few years, picked up a few tubes of it and then some soap commander rose and a some m-bomb. Not a terrible year, but I am hoping to do better this year. There are only a few items that would have me pulling my wallet out with a quickness.
Are purchases from the TSD store exempt? I just ran out of TSD Lemongrass SS and don't know it I can do without it. Other than that, I'm good
If I run out of something that I don't have a replacement for, I would buy from TSD. However, I likely won't run out of anything, in this lifetime. Is the Lemongrass your only soap? You get to decide your level of following the rules. Personally, I would have to change my title to NNB17.
I might need more before next summer is up. And if I keep putting twenty drops of it into my bowl, it might be sooner than that.
Hi all, Good Morning! As some of you might already know, I have been thinking of re-knotting a couple of very old shaving brushes. I may end up out of the NoBuy this year. If that happens, I will still be doing my best to follow along and participate. I still wish to refrain from any purchases.
I can't believe it. I made it a month. My RAD kicked in two years ago and I've been out of control since. One day at a time guys. We can do this.
It has been a relatively easy month. So far, I have been PIFfed two soaps, a bottle of aftershave and a razor, and I just swung a trade for a brush. At this point I am not really getting anywhere in my goal of den shrinking. I PIFfed out 6 soaps already, and gave two razors for the brush, so I guess actually I am at a net -3 actual items for the month. Maybe I'm not sitting quite so bad. Eleven months to go.
One month with no software purchases. Have gotten two soap samples, but both were free. Doing a focus this month on using up all my soap samples, so hopefully that will help my den shrink. Not specifically part of my NB, but my hardware had four new razors come in in January, all from trades, and 13 razors and a vintage strop go out. I am actually reducing what is in my den to focus one what I want to have.
