I did not bloom it today. I put it in a steel container, and splashed some water on the top while I soaked the brush. It released the scent nicely.

Good morning folks, Happy New Year! I started this day off with my usual routine, a hot cup of joe and then I started scanning eBay for razors and stuff. I immediately had to check myself. I remembered today is the first day of NB17 so I hightailed it out of there, and came over here. After a few more cups of hot coffee I'm going to return to my eBay app, and clear all my saved items. Has anyone else had a similar start to this sabbatical?
Well, two cups of Java later, and I have successfully deleted all shave related items from my watchlist. It wasn't too hard. Now I just need to direct my attentions elsewhere.
On this first day of 2017, I RUINED my hopes of a NB year(it's too much of a challenge for me anyway). I placed an order on the Clubman website for 2 Country Club shampoos. 10% deal going through Jan3-I didn't want to miss out on that.
Forgive me if I am mistaken, but shampoo is for the hair isn't it? Oh, I think I get it, you use it for head shaves.
yes it is for hair. No I don't use it for head shaves. There are threads here that talk about shampoos(skin care).
Hello Paul, I was just thinking your purchase should be fine to keep you qualified for NB17, the purchase was not for shaving.
guess it's going to have to be a NB 18 for me, or bust lol(although I've been informed that I still qualify ffor 17, well, recall the line Robert Redford used at the end of the move THE STING-"nah, I'd probably blow it"). .
Well, you lasted for 8 hours during NB 17, so that gives you a standard to beat for NB 18. Baby steps....
The incredible release schedule at Barrister and Mann is precluding me from a NB 17, but I will be conducting a den clearance, so at least That's something
I will still try to trade for a Paladin, but there isn't anything else that I don't already have, or need to have. Another soap?...have 37 + backups; another AS?...have 49 + backups another razor?...have 19; another brush?...have 9. This NB '17 is a must for me. So, here's to the new year, great shaves and...self-control.
