I came across this little box and it contents while in the wild. It got me looking into the support the war type advertisements and if there were any related to shaving. Turns out there were a few. Also turns out Gillette made more than razors and blades for our troops. To all who served, thank you for your service.
They also dedicated the production of razors to the war effort. You may have had trench foot and disinteria but apparently you could get a decent shave. We place a lot of romantic ideas on that war but it was pretty much a nightmare for the poor bastards who actually fought there . God bless the fighters of world war 2 and all the soldiers our country has sent into battle since. We owe our lives to you!
I noticed that as well. It doesn't say what model and the picture shows a non adjustable razor. But I may be wrong.
Ah, maybe that's what they mean. I agree sounds like trouble. Shaving with a loose blade sliding around on your neck.
Correct, I mentioned that in the topic/title. Same sentence, I probably should have separated into two sentences. That's my great California education system grammar shining through.
Not exactly war related but fire arms related. This was one of the handful of blades I found . I believe I came across a post that showed Winchester co. Made razors also.
