I just bought a gem w19 from the shave den store. Does anyone what would be the date on it? I didn't know if w19 meant anything as far as a date goes.

W19 is just part of the product code. The store software assigns product codes to all products. Doesn't mean anything. :)

I don't think there are datecodes or anything for GEM Micromatics. I could be wrong.

I'm not an expert on Gem dates by any means, but from what I've been able to find out, the antenna style handled open comb Micromatic started production in 1929 and ran trough to the late 1930's.
