need help recording from a phone call

    I have a friend who has throat cancer and is no longer able to talk. His wife asked me to see if there was any way to record the introduction on his voice mail and translate it into something that can be stored on the computer for playback later. She wants this for sentimental reasons. Frankly, I am unsure how to even approach the problem. What are your suggestions?

    I've never used it but it looks like THIS android app would do the trick.

    I have been where she is now. Unfortunately, there are only the little things that can be done to help the situation.
