Never use atg. no need in it. But if your saying your getting a closer atg with certain razors and blades? Bull feathers.
That would take the fun out of it. You guys are a real hoot.... I couldn't bring myself to jump out of a perfectly good airplane, that probably will never happen.
Don't want to take over your thread. Sorry if I got off subject. I have a muhle r41 that has been on the bottom of my list for a while and not sure I wanted to keep it. I decided to just use it as much as possible to see if I can get in tune with it. After about 7 uses it's getting better. It has always been a very close shaver but was a real scrape like rough and would skip or bounce. Found I have the razor tilted wrong. Can't tilt it like most of my other razors. I need to have the handle slightly higher and take smaller strokes to keep it at the right angle. The r41 and a feather blade makes for a close shave if you know how to operate it. So thanks for the help "Never give up" tp
Thinking back to 6yrs ago when I started wet shaving I wished I would have used the same razor for an extended period, buying a new razor weekly and switching didn't give me enough time to get really comfortable with any. I've used the Game Changer for a couple of months and have had the best shaves of my life.
When I first started DE shaving there was the advice to go with a very aggressive razor, and "you'll grow to like it" .... yah right. I went on over the years to try MANY MANY razors, and come to the conclusion that I get my best shaves with mild razors. Using proper technique Techs are AMAZING.
