I like Adidas as well. The strange one I like Nivea Deep ..... it kind of reminds me of candy and grape soda.
i like the nivea deep also.nice stuff.truly one of the nicer new modern mass produced aftershaves.what i would like to see is a new lime aftershave for the mass market.i liked shulton old spice lime back in the day.
I still do. My wife doesn't. Old spice lime aftershave is still available. You just have to order it from India.
I have Nivea Deep, Adidas Dynamic Pulse and Old Spice Fresh Lime. I like them all, but don't know how Old Spice Fresh Lime compares to the Shulton version.
It's about the same as the difference between vintage old spice and new (Indian) old spice, which is to say smaller than the difference between vintage old spice and modern American made old spice. If that makes any sense. I like all four of them.
Y'know, I call Bill Neumann aftershaves(Wm. Neumann&Co.)- "new old aftershaves".Why. They are over a century old, but I never heard about them until I joined here.
I was recently thinking the same thing as the OP. To me, there is something about walking into a local store and them having after-shave staples. I have bought on-line, but I prefer buying from brick-and-mortars, like our ancestors did. So I, too, would love some new reasonably-priced after shaves that would become staples. The newest ones I use are Gillette Cool Wave and Nivea (including one of their balms). But I find myself reaching for the classics much more after I shave.
Actually, I'm in Jersey, pretty close to the city. I need to check it out the next time I go into the city. I've heard of it over the years, though. I usually go to Barber Depot in Hackensack. They have the full line of Clubman, a well as others. Good prices on 100 blade boxes. They carry Personna, Dorco, and Astra SPs, and I think a handful of others.
