image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I just finished my experiment I took the vie long horse hair knot out of a crappy handle and made one on my lathe for it. I'm didn't have a forester bit the exact size so I just made it a little deeper it was and experiment. I will test lather it tonight.

Nice project. I really like those woods you use: nice color and grain. I hope your horsey rides well for you.

I have the Vie-Long 12705. I got it because I wanted a horsey without paying a lot. I find it too scritchy for my likes.

Try one of the 50:50 mane:tail they are very soft. You can get one shipped for less than $20 from gifts and care

OK, I'm finished with this until I get the knot. I made the hole 15 mm deep and approximately 22 mm in diameter. Larry suggested the depth in order to make the loft about 50 mm.

I just looked at the tracking and it looks like it has gone from Arlington, TX, to Coppell, TX, (about 20 miles) in two days. Do you think it will reach North Cackalacky by tomorrow? Do you believe in miracles?

It appears that in two days, the knot has traveled 20 miles. It looks like it finally left Coppell, TX, this morning at 11:01 am. It still has the expected delivery date as today, the 28th, but it will be a miracle if it makes it today. I believe in miracles, but I do not believe in the USPS.

You'd think if it is on the Internet, then it must be true.
