At Seattle ShaveCon 2015 last month, I got to meet Dave Ross, a brush maker from Beaverton, Oregon, who had a big display of colorful handles that he has made. He has an Etsy shop call MERShaving. Dave casts his own resin blanks, and experiments with many striking color combinations. There was a handle that I had to take home with me, with a wonderful sparkling swirl of brown, gold, and green!

I was distracted by other projects, but I finally finished it off with a 24mm Sunrise synthetic knot from AMACK on Etsy. I love the way this brush looks!

The handle is stunning. Please let us know how the knot performs.

I was glad I didn't take cash with me to the Seattle Shave Con. Especially when I saw his display. The glow in the dark swirl handles were very memorable.

Nice score, by the way. I might grab one next year.
