I have a question for you seasoned brush restorers. How do I get the oxidation and stains off the plastic handles??

I've had luck with toothpaste, it's cheap. Then use a polish like Flitz or something, a car polish will work, to bring back the shine. For some really tough ones, I've had to use real fine grit sandpaper.

I’ll have to do some looking. I have flitz but maybe I should try wet sanding. I’ll give it a go.

Something I put together using an old shave brush handle, modified to fit a stainless ferrule I cut from a tube.

Fuller shave brush that has seen better days. Just a minor polish and installed a pretty dense 22mm Black Badger knot I had lying around. The old boar was completely shot, and this knot matches it in color with a bit of scritch, it should work out fine..........

Great job Jim; Fullers, Klenzos and Rubbersets make beautiful butterscotch brushes. Congrats!
