They learned a lot when they made the rockwell 6 so it should be smoother this time. For one they now have a reliable person to do the casting/machining. They may nail it in one because of the last razor and its problems.

Rob something tells me that when Rockwell get the first batch of testers and they see that something is not up to par with quality they wont go in full production, they will most likely fix the problem first and then go in mass production. I think they lost good chunk of money with the 6s, they cant allow it for the same problem to slip again, bad for their pocket and they can lose lots of customers and that can be the end of the company. I think Gareth already said he learned his lesson as in Full me once shame on you, full me twice shame on me LOL

I think he got the hang of it, if something goes wrong he would probably extend the delivery date until he fixes the problem. He seems much smarter and cautious now, but you have to learn from your own mistakes first, looks like he already crossed that bridge.

The white one is the initial 3D printer. The brass one is a mock up working prototype.

The mechanism/tto felt stiff to twist . The adjustment knob twisted around smoothly there wasn't a clicking sound or stopping points.

It's still a prototype . It was a testers prototype but I'm sure there will be revisions.
