New Saponificio Varesino 2.0

This just arrived. The cocobolo handle with golden pewter ring is gorgeous. The knot is 26mm and has quite a large bloom, is dense but very soft. Zero scritch on first test lather.
Really looking forward to lathering up with this brush.
The stand is a new SV design made from wood and very well finished.

lol, I've actually come back to this thread more than a few times just to ogle that brush. Super pretty from the knot to the collar to the cocobolo to the base.

 

I just went and looked at all the different wood options available.....wow they're all pretty nice.

 

I was a little bit disappointed when I realised the post wasn't about you having gotten your hands on the new Saponificio Varesino soap ahead of time, but the brush is REALLY nice
