Great review Bill, I really enjoyed your observations particularly with regard to the angle. Despite its .38 gap the TB does not feel mild in the vain of a Gillette Tech to me. I agree that the shaves from a TB are " unlike any other razor I have" as well. I hope you really enjoy it.
I sent away for this razor as a belated birthday present for myself, along with the Scarlet Zone shave soap, the cleaning brush, the leather razor case and dopp bag, the bowl and towel set, and the leather bill fold. As an extra, Timeless threw in a soap dish and bath soap, which was a nice treat. It arrived yesterday, and like a kid in the proverbial candy shop, I couldn't resist using it straight away. Considering the blade gap I requested, which was on the narrower end, I got a surprisingly close shave. The blade was a Treet Silver on its fifth use. The razor felt good in the hand, well balanced, good weight, but despite the extra weight of bronze not too aggressive.
I took these with my phone camera and had to resize them to 25% of the original size to be able to upload, but here they are.
I just checked out the Timeless website, and I gotta say those are some beautiful razors! The bronze is so nice looking. I'm kind of lusting after one now.
