I really hope the Dorca's don't suck. I ended up with 20 of them (2 different packs of 10) which, for me, is like 15 weeks of shaving. Worst case scenario they suck and a certain person from Honduras gets a PIF. The rest should be here tomorrow or Friday. Just in time for a nice Saturday shave
The Dorco blades in the blue/gray/white pack are ST300's. The ones in the red/white pack are ST301's. The general consensus is that the ST300's are awful and the ST301's are decent. From personal use I agree with that assessment. However, blades are the most personal of likes and dislikes in shaving gear. Definitely try all the blades before making up your mind. Have fun with those shaves.
hahaha don't worry. you'll see they work just fine I bet you can't wait for saturday! (I'm sure I can't haha)
Same here but several more years of facial pain. Getting away from the multi blades and using the techniques advocated here is making it much better. Shaving is becoming fun!
I couldn't wait any longer so I went to Walgreen's last night after work and got VHD shave soap and a badger brush. I also grabbed some Witch Hazel and a styptic pen. Got home and shaved...best shave of my life. The lather was inconsistent, at some times it was thick, and other times it was thin. I'll chalk that up to inexperience. I used my Quattro so I still ended up with issues on my neck, I hope those go away with time and a better blade Now I'll have soap, cream, badger, and boar. Hopefully everything gets here within the next few days so I can start using a real blade
