Ever said to yourself, "I wish I had a cover that fit on this cup."
I had and let it go for a while until my daughter made a cake for a friend and was discarding a Pillsbury frosting container. I picked the container from the recycling bin, removed the cover and proceeded to see if it would fit my Old Spice cup that I use daily. Not only did it fit but it actually snaps on the ridge of the cup still providing it some ability to breathe. This also allows you to stack them if you wish.

And as luck would have it, I went to grab a few nuts and the light bulb went on!

That's pretty cool. Last July, I got creative and made this solution for my mugs. It is not a hermetical seal, but it does allow for stacking. When I got my Old Spice mug, I transferred my VDH Deluxe and re-used the lid for it.

I'll be back, I've got to go eat some frosting! That's a great idea! I've been using a fountain drink plastic cover.

It only fits the newer shorter cups.

That is a great idea, I have been using a white Proraso lid turned upside down on mine. The frosting lid will work much better.

Just recently was thinking of a solution myself when i took my old spice mug to the girl friends over the last weekend! I put my arko stick in it and never thought till afterwards that it would be nice to have a lid! Thanks for the info!

I use a red Betty Crocker top on my short OS mug and it pretty much fit perfectly, but it wouldn't fit my taller mug (too lose). Thanks to you now I'm on the quest for a small nut can top, I have a larger size Planters nut can(the next size up) but it doesn't fit properly(too BIG). I guess now I'll be on a quest for any and all tops that may possibly fit(frosting, nuts, dips, etc).. I just tried a Frito-Lay French onion dip can top and it fits my larger OS mug PERFECTLY!! :happy108:. :)
