I also recommend a tech. They are just super solid razors. If you want to give yourself a few more "options," get a gillette fatboy.

If you are looking for something rather aggressive, I suggest a Timeless .95 Razor

Just give me grits, sausage and biscuits and black coffee, preferably Newman's Own or New England Coffee Co.

Butter & black pepper on your grits or maple syrup? I'm a butter and black pepper kind of guy. ;)

Either or but not both. A big pat of butter and fresh ground black pepper .. O R .. Maple Syrup. :) Like while in the Service, it was ketchup on your scrambled eggs or Louisiana (Looziana) Hot sauce. ;)

Find a razor that just looks cool and would be great to own, then learn how to use it well.
Of course, there might be more than one.
I found a couple dozen that way and haven't been disappointed.
Enjoy hunting for it, ebay, esty, and then there are the forums here that show off some of the more popular ones.

The mexican brand with the wood top is even better on eggs to me. Both the louisiana brand and tobascco are made not too far from here.
