Being retired, I can shave when ever I want. However, I have only had one real shave in the past 45 years and I did it at night a few days ago. So based upon this single event, I'll say I am a night shaver.
I worked night shift for years and recently went back to daylight. Because I only shave every so often (1-2x/wk max), I tend to do it on my day off, and/or while I'm awake so that I enjoy the experience more.
Same here. Hard to shave in the morning when you have an 18 month old running around and mom is already at work.
Since getting injured when working some years ago, I do a lot of late afternoon - night shaving. I don't have to shave in the morning for work any more and at times it's just feels more relaxing shaving late in the day. I now just get up, sometimes late cause I have always been a night person, have a couple cups of coffee and just do what ever has to be done around the place. Sometimes I work on a drawing or some kind of project all day and then later on, relax with a shave after a shower. Gotta admit, ever since I started using DE razors, I look forward to shaving, not like before when I didn't care for it.
Yep, I now wish I could shave every day, but my skin can be sensitive at times and it comes in thick and tough. But at times I do it. Damn that Mediterranean blood in me. Come from a long line heavy bearded men in the family.
Shaving at night was recommended to me and I actually prefer it for several reasons; It's quiet and relaxing and there's no rushing (like during the day). Lastly, I simply complete my evening and soon go to bed. The end of a good day, but allows for more time to prepare in the morning.
