No Buy July - Participant List, Rules and other stuff

The shear fact that I'm not supposed to is what's getting me. I have a gift coming from a new good friend arriving tomorrow. I believe it will help me last. I have a feeling Joanna, Italian Barber, and Stirling are going to have quite the orders to fill August 1st.

 

Why not go ahead and TSD? The Donate link is at the top of the page. Or if you want to spend your money on something right now, why not buy a super good bottle of scotch? That way you get to have a great shave in the morning and a sip of liquid gold in the evening.

 

Or if you really feel like some new products there's always pomade, bath/face soaps, deodorants, etc

Then again, I like the idea of scotch....

 

I'm bald. Can't use pomade. Bath and face soaps.....meh. Only deodorant that works for me is Gillette Gel. Could go for Scotch but the wife may get mad at 10-20 bottles sitting in the house to curb my shaving needs LOL

 

Is it the scent or the freeze? I don't have a reference. =P only cold soaps I've used is proraso and glacial wintergreen.

Had to jump in - the Slim is rarely seen here and with the condition and price I had to take the deal. The Tech is just a follow-item to keep shipping combined.

True, but why buy a ton of crap? Compulsively buying lots of stuff is usually counterproductive and unsatisfying in the long run.

You see what I mean? Would you buy one bottle of really good scotch or many bottles of el cheapo whiskey? The same thing applies to other products.

 

So How many people are left? Btw today was hard. I went to take my dog swimming and passed at least 3-4 stores I could have stopped at. I also passed 1 more on the way to the grocery store. So I could have given in to temptation at least 5 times. Not to mention the more upscale ones I could have tried, so maybe 6-7 stores.

 

If you look at the participation list on the first page I cross them out as they bite the dust

 

We are almost half way there guys. Listen, I only have two soaps, one brush, two different blade types, two razors, and 2-3 aftershave that I actually use If that. If I can get through this people like @Neolithium should have no problem.

So hang in there , especially you my Northern Friend.
